You don’t have to look very far to witness how fundamentally fractured our society in what amounts to a suicide pact. Intersectionality lauds our differences and sets us up for punishment for the transgression of individuality. My Webster’s dictionary defines intersectionality as:

“The complex, cumulative way in which the effects of multiple forms of discrimination (such as racism, sexism, and classism) combine, overlap, or intersect, especially in the experiences of marginalized individuals or groups”

Today we’ll discuss how the creators of intersectionality intentionally took a largely cohesive country and turned it into a collection of warring hostile tribes, all by design. Then we will examine how this tribalism has led to the divisiveness of today, followed by a solution.  

Academic law professor Kimberlé Crenshaw created the concept of intersectionality. In her 1991 article “Mapping the Margins,” she explained how people who are “both women and people of color” are marginalized by “discourses that are shaped to respond to one [identity] or the other” rather than both. The predicate for Ms. Crenshaw’s thesis is,

“What that means is that we are actually living at the intersections of overlapping systems of privilege and oppression.”

The nexus argument behind all claims of victimhood everywhere is that White Males have stolen the power which rightfully belongs to other deserving distinct groups, sans White Males. Everything taken with that power must be returned or taken by force, and only then can redress be genuinely achieved. 

This has become incontrovertible and sacred doctrine among Progressives, although nonsense! And that’s being charitable when considering the absolute devastation the belief in and application of intersectionality has ravaged us. The following concepts derive their validation from this notion:

 

·        Feminism is in crisis today.  Feminists discovered a hierarchy in intersectionalism, with White Women being just one step higher than White Males. Consider the Lia Thomas case. A 6-foot-4 trans woman is beating biological women in amateur swimming while suppressing women’s voices and accomplishments in the process. Or, consider women in the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Wyoming contending with a 6-foot-2, 260-pound biological male who joined in September 2022 under pressure from their national organization. These are but two issues of many, demonstrating harm to Women’s development, safety, and happiness, held hostage by the gods of intersectionality.  Shamefully, Women’s Rights Groups are silent on this attack on women!

·        Racism is the central theme hammered into us more than any other form of intersectionality. Forgetting that life has offered no one, including White Males, any guarantees, consider that racism today is being used as a vehicle to right perceived wrongs. Case in point… reparations. Reparations are being discussed, or money is being given at the State, Local, and Federal levels right now. Get past the fact that there is zero ability to pay the trillions demanded, and you quickly can conclude that someone is manipulating the expectations of African Americans. 

 

Where is that likely to lead us as significant and undeserved reparation demands take center stage? Outrageous and impossible-to-implement schemes will only feed the strife and division cycle. Perhaps exactly what some want? One final thought. Trillions of dollars have already been spent on raising African Americans out of poverty. Yet, after a couple of generations of such spending, nothing has changed except demands for ever more ‘compensation.’

·         Broad acceptance of Homosexuality and Transgenerism are part of the intersectionality push. For centuries, both here and abroad, deviant behavior was explicitly called out as antithetical to the needs of a healthy society. Under intersectionality, we can no longer be just tolerant; we are expected to accept these lifestyles that fly in the face of the basis of our Judeo-Christian society. Have you noticed how prevalent these lifestyles have become in media and entertainment outlets?  They are literally dominant and overrepresented.  Such is the power of intersectionality today.
 

·         Open Borders is the newest form of intersectionality. Once it is established that every separate group in America is actually a self-contained, self-actualized tribe, why wouldn’t you extend that thinking to groups outside America which supposedly are suffering from the sins of White Males? The message you hear constantly is that American policy, created by White Males, shaped inequality and violence, which drives people from their ancestral homes. Remember, it doesn’t have to be true for the message to be believed by millions!

 

Now, let’s circle back to two distinct choices in our title, American Deviancy.

A.      Either America is morally bankrupt and founded in a state of evil intent.

OR

B.      America has lifted more people out of poverty and created more opportunities than anyone else.

 

Which is mostly true? Here is the mathematical truth of America. America has been the destination of choice for the world since 1820, and no nation has taken in more millions than we have. Why is that? 

It is precisely because we were a morally conservative country, ethically and economically more inviting than any other country in the world. Today, that magnetism continues to draw migrants to this day, continually benefitting the world at large. Sometime in the 1960s, the very success that America (primarily the European and Asian immigrants from the 1860s through the 1940s) found created the engine of the world that, like magnetism, draws people to this day but benefits the world. 

But today’s draw is different. That 80–90-year period saw the world’s best and brightest come here despite the always omnipresent risk of failure. People died or failed to obtain their dream, while millions more prospered. The truth of a literal invasion of immigrants through an open border is not about White Males suppressing others; it is an acknowledgment that many of the world’s poor greatly desire to come to America to experience streets paved with gold. At least, that’s what they think.

Too many coming here expect a guaranteed outcome, payment for wrongs they believed they endured, and an unnatural equality that does not exist in nature.

America has lost its way, starkly visible in how deviant behavior is tolerated, subsidized, and held in higher esteem than pro-society, pro-family actions central to a healthy society. As our country moves rapidly towards self-entitlement and self-love above accomplishment, concepts such as multi-culturalism, implicit bias, cancel culture, and intersectionality are destructive concepts that don’t create anything other than undeserved self-affirmation.

Eventually, our nation’s resources will be stripped away to support an ever-larger population that understandably wants what we have instantly! We must ask ourselves how sustainable the present situation is and whether we are ready to step off the cliff in the name of intersectionality or whatever new and popular construct we are told is most important.

Life is imperfect. However, that is no excuse for throwing logic and history to the wind, expecting an impossibly utopian outcome. Life should be about the best choices, not necessarily the perfect ones. The solution is clear, even if the will to implement it is not. We must ask ourselves: what must we do to ensure that America stays strong and can continue to lead the world? Without the U.S. as a guarantor of our essential freedoms, we are surely doomed. Our policies today are nothing more than a suicide pact.
