Our country, people, political establishments, and our capitalistic form of government have collectively been rightly anxious about the possibility of a civil war breaking out in our country. Stark divisions are growing, not shrinking; we must never forget that it has happened before. That kind of civil war, such as the War between the States, is unlikely.
What is likely, is the continued breakdown of our internal systems that ensured each generation built upon the prior one inherently, allowing America to remain America, generation after generation. In addition, we’ll see violence and direct assaults on our basic form of government become more and more common. Another way of expressing what a new kind of civil war might bring is a realignment of our priorities and a general reduction in America’s prospects compared to what we have been accustomed to enjoying —a new America and an ongoing uncivil war.
Events & Trends Leading to System Cancer:-
We are starting to see structure in the chaos. Recent seemingly unconnected events are beginning to come into focus, exposing a central nexus. Today’s article seeks to reveal that nexus and point to what we can do about it, before the cancer spreads beyond our country’s autoimmune system’s ability to fight it. Recent events and trends such as:
- Why the recent win by Zohran Mamdani is a watershed moment in this country
- Recent polling continues to show that anti-Semitism continues to grow against not just those who support Israel, but against Jews in general, and that it is not slowing down. Amazingly, 20%of NYC Jews voted for Mamdani!
- Large numbers of Americans support isolationism.
- The decline in respect for traditional institutions
- The rise of a new kind of individualism and identity expression
- The dominance and dangers of the digital information age
- Skepticism and losing faith in the American Dream
- Americans are gravitating towards collective action and social justice
If I were a political seismologist, all of the above points point to a singular conclusion:
The big one is coming. The key aspect of predicting seismic events is that there is never any unanimity until after the fact. We can all agree that we see a trend, but we cannot predict what it means or where everything will ultimately wind up. In this sense, predicting seismic events and earth-shaking political events are quite similar.
President Trump has temporarily reduced some of the pressure, but he is term-limited, and there are no guarantees of who or what will follow. What Trump orders, another president can undo, unless much of what Trump has enacted using Executive Orders is codified by Congress into law; no mean feat considering how badly divided politics is in our country today. It is easy to foresee much of Trump’s agenda being undone by either a less dominant Republican president or the near inevitability of some future Democratic president who is as bad or worse than Biden or Obama when it comes to embracing traditional America.
Generational Shift in Values Fuels Rise of Voices:-
What has created the opening for Communists like Mamdani, and is seeing younger and older Americans alike become circumspect concerning traditional America, tied to only a few critical issues:
- Politicians who put their reelection prospects ahead of our country.
- A budget deficit that (a.) will eventually catch up with us in a catastrophic manner. And (b.) has led to the false belief that Americans have come to expect that they can have it all without financial repercussions.
- Dedicated enemies who have been poisoning our children’s minds for two generations are at the zenith of their power, with what comes next a critical and decisive showdown that will see one side emerge victorious or the other.
- Putting our collective heads in the sand by allowing dedicated haters of our society to leverage the protections our system offers while attempting to destroy us.
This last bullet epitomizes the catch-22 that a free society faces when the enemy leverages the protections our system guarantees. Past generations saw this for what it is: subversion.
Attempting to overthrow the U.S. government through subversion violates several federal laws, primarily found in Chapter 115 of Title 18 of the U.S. Code, which deals with treason, sedition, and subversive activities.
We used to understand the ramifications of allowing, even encouraging, those whose endgame was the destruction of traditional America. What led us to no longer defend our nation’s founding principles and tenets?
Perhaps some excesses from the past, such as institutional overreach and post-9/11 surveillance expansions, have prompted some to overreact in the opposite direction. However, in doing so, we’ve opened the doors wide to our enemies, foreign and domestic, who want to burn everything down.
Today, we are reluctant to debate, much less decide the limits of our civil rights, freely giving them away to anyone with a desire to destroy us and a match to start the conflagration. Is this a sane policy? Of course not, but the New Democratic Party is leading the charge as never before, taking orders from would-be Marxists, teachers’ unions, and the scions of what’s moral and reasonable, the very Marxists teaching our young for the last two generations. This is not hyperbole; it’s a demonstrable fact.
Conclusion:-
In closing today, it is incredible how these neo-Marxists tell you what they plan to do when they achieve power. Somehow, we either don’t believe them or are so naïve that we don’t realize all these promises and actions have been tried and failed innumerable times. Let me leave you with a few words from Zohran Mamdani himself:
- Mamdani states his desire to “globalize the intifada.”
- He stated, “I don’t think that we should have billionaires because there is so much money in a moment of such inequality. And. Ultimately, we need more equality across our city, state, and country.”
- Asked if he plans to keep NYC a sanctuary city: “Absolutely…I will be PROUD to stand up…those days [of arrests] will come to an END.”
- Mamdani also wished to “shift the tax burden from overtaxed homeowners in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods.”
Friends, Mamdani is only the newest iteration of a legion of people today who plan on hastening the demise of our country. Why don’t we believe them and fight back before we are fighting an uncivil war?
