Across the American political landscape, the balkanization of American politics can be traced to the growth of carefully organized “wings” — from progressive and centrist Democrats to evangelical conservatives, MAGA-aligned populists, labor-backed organizers, libertarian-leaning activists, pro-immigration coalitions, and growing Muslim and other identity-based blocs. They constantly demonstrate outsized influence through control of the levers of power: primary voters who can make or break candidates, donor networks and PAC money that shape campaigns, grassroots field operations that turn out voters, targeted media ecosystems that set the narrative, and tactical use of committee and floor votes to advance or block legislation. When these factions prioritize narrow policy agendas or intra-party dominance over compromise, they sharpen incentives for ideological purity, harden candidate selection, and make bipartisan deal-making ever rarer. Together, pushing the system toward greater fragmentation and intensified partisan conflict. The clique(s) you belong to today dominate your actions and constrain attempts at bipartisanship.

As a conservative, I stand in juxtaposition to any side that wishes to deconstruct America and turn it into whatever Progressivism means to them. The major takeaway today is that all political wings are ultimately dangerous and destructive to our system of government and have allowed outside parties to manipulate elected leaders through a variety of coercive means, including funding huge sums to remain in office and creating the conditions for insidious corruption of all kinds.

Inside the Growing Influence of the Chinese Wing:-

Many consider the Chinese wing to be one of the most influential, with influence operations continually being revealed or inferred. Even Senator Mitch McConnell has been rumored to be an influence target due to his marriage to Elaine Chao and the Chao family’s business interests in Asia, notably the Foremost Group, a shipping company with longstanding Chinese ties; that background has been cited by commentators and some news accounts when questioning whether family business links influence McConnell’s foreign policy priorities.

McConnell’s exposure, if there is any, pales in comparison to what the public record shows for three different  incidents that involved California politicians:

Last week’s resignation by Congressman Eric Swalwell, the former California front-runner, is a rare public airing of what happens when a “made” politician is of no further value to a particular wing, becomes an impediment, and is expunged overnight, even though his predilection for sexual entanglements was well-known before his public flogging. Make no mistake: Swalwell was a known predator. A short history for your purview:

Eric Swalwell’s reputation was nearly destroyed after media reports surfaced alleging sexual misconduct and renewed scrutiny of his past contact with Christine “Fang Fang” Fang, a Chinese national the FBI investigated and believed to be a spy for China; Swalwell was never charged or seriously investigated in connection with those matters and remained on (impossible to believe) the House Intelligence Committee, a decision made by the then current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who was gromming him for higher office.

High profile donors and political allies who had helped build his profile—including major backer Stephen Cloobeck (the timeshare king) and recipients of contributions from his Remedy PAC—publicly distanced themselves or redirected funds as the controversy unfolded. Within Congress, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other senior Democrats who had previously championed Swalwell’s rise, giving him visibility and committee assignments that amplified his influence, those same relationships frayed quickly as colleagues severed ties.

Another tie back to Speaker Pelosi is the almost forgotten case of Imran Awan, who was a PakistaniAmerican IT specialist who began working on Capitol Hill in 2004 and served as a shared IT employee for many House Democrats, including stints supporting offices such as Rep. Robert Wexler’s and later Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s; he and several relatives provided technical support to dozens of Democratic members over more than a decade. In early 2017, House security officials barred Awan and several of his associates from the House computer network while investigators examined procurement irregularities and equipment handling, and the episode became a highprofile security and political controversy.

Suppressed Truth?

But the real truth was much more than that and was suppressed. First, my sources shared with me that Awan and associates were hired at the express direction of Pelosi. Later, as authorities were closing in by July in 2017 Imran Awan was arrested at Dulles Airport as he attempted to flee, and in July 2018 he pleaded guilty to a single count of bank fraud tied to a false statement on a loan application; as part of the resolution prosecutors dropped other potential charges and explicitly stated they had found no evidence linking him to a foreign intelligence service or to theft of House servers. Judge Tanya Chutkan (a familiar democrat operative) sentenced Awan to time served and a period of supervision, and the Department of Justice publicly closed the matter without charging espionagerelated crimes. Importantly, and not to bury the lead, Awan, when arrested, it has been alleged, had a suitcase full of hard drives and money. Democrats in Congress under Pelosi were his only clients.

Then, back in 2013, there’s the suspected espionage case of Senator Feinstein’s longtime driver, who had worked for her and had been the subject of a counterintelligence inquiry into alleged recruitment by China’s Ministry of State Security; the individual, Russell Wong, was described as having acted as a liaison to the local Asian American community and attending consular events on the senator’s behalf. The FBI reportedly briefed Feinstein about their suspicions years earlier, only removing the staffer from her office when the matter became pubic.

Two important caveats: the episode was handled through counterintelligence channels rather than a public espionage prosecution, and major factchecks note that some claims about the scope of the alleged activity remain unproven. According to contemporaneous accounts, the staffer left Feinstein’s employ (effectively retired) and was not prosecuted for espionage. Wong is alleged to be living in China today.

I don’t know what it is about Democrats, especially California Democrats, whether discussing political intrigue or innumerable ties to the CCP, but Democrats don’t seem to fit the common man’s definition of what a traditional, loyal American looks like. We’re watching the rise of intersectional politics, mirroring the intersectional craziness of the general population, which appears to be subsiding. One’s bad for the growth and sanity of our citizenry, the other is bad for our national security and the trust we have, or don’t have, in our government.

Conclusion:-

The bottom line is that the declining trust we have in our government and its multitudinous institutions that intrude, inform, and restrict every facet of our lives is both restricting us and making us more vulnerable to our enemies across multiple planes, including our military, governance, healthcare, social systems, and education systems.

Contrary to what some might think, Donald Trump’s authoritative style directly confronts many of these actual dangers. I wonder who, or what, will replace his necessary pushback when he’s gone.

God Bless America!
